Can I calculate copy number for single-stranded RNA?
Yes. Select 'RNA' as the molecule type and enter the concentration and volume. The calculator will output molar amounts and molar mass details.
Can I calculate for modified nucleotides or modified bases?
The current tool does not account for modified bases. For modified nucleotides, adjust the molecular weight manually or contact support for custom calculations.
What if I only know the concentration in ng/µL, not the total volume?
You can still calculate the total molecules by entering the total mass (ng) and the volume in µL. The calculator will derive the concentration (copies/µL) and total molecules from that.
